Will Jacks
Will Jacks, a well-known English batter, will be playing for the Mumbai Indians in the upcoming season. Known for his hitting abilities and for changing the direction of a match in no time, Jacks will be watched closely. He played exceptionally well for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru last season, especially his century off 40 balls against the Gujarat Titans. It was a big surprise when RCB, despite his performances last year, didn’t use the RTM card for him in the IPL 2025 Mega auction.
Mumbai Indians acquired Will Jacks for ₹5.25 crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction. In the eight matches played, he scored 230 runs with an average of 32.86 and a strike rate of 175.57.
Deepak Chahar, the Indian pacer known for his swing, will don the blue and golden jersey this year as the Mumbai Indians acquired him for ₹9.25 crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction. Chahar especially bowls during the powerplay and has performed well for the Chennai Super Kings in that phase.
Alongside Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah, Chahar will form one of the most lethal pace attacks in the IPL. He has taken 77 wickets in the 81 matches played so far at an economy rate of 7.98 and an average of 28.84.
Mujeeb Ur Rahman
Mujeeb Ur Rahman, the well-known Afghan spinner, will be playing for the Mumbai Indians this year and could be one of the biggest game-changers for the team in the upcoming IPL 2025. Initially, Mumbai acquired Allah Ghazanfar in the mega auction, but he suffered an injury and was ruled out for IPL 2025.
For Allah Ghazanfar’s replacement, Mumbai contracted Mujeeb ur Rahman for the upcoming season.
