The Hundred 2025 draft wrapped up on March 12 (Wednesday), with New Zealand’s Michael Bracewell and Afghanistan’s Noor Ahmad landing the biggest deals, each worth £200,000.
Noor Ahmad was picked by Manchester Originals, while Bracewell, who was recently named New Zealand’s T20I captain for the series against Pakistan, will play for Southern Brave.
Other players to secure £200,000 contracts included England’s Jamie Overton and David Willey. Overton was signed by London Spirit, while Willey was picked up by Trent Rockets.
David Warner is set to make his debut in The Hundred after signing a £120,000 deal with London Spirit. Rachin Ravindra, who was named Player of the Series in the Champions Trophy 2025, was signed by Manchester Originals for £120,000.
In the women’s draft, Australia’s Georgia Voll secured a top contract worth £65,000 with Birmingham Phoenix.
Meanwhile, English cricket legend James Anderson, who entered The Hundred draft for the first time, went unsold the same outcome he faced in the IPL auction. However, Anderson could still get a chance to play as teams will have another opportunity to fill their squads during the wildcard draft before the season begins on August 5.
