Entertainers Cricket League 2025 – ECL 2025 Points Table: The Lucknow Lions have clinched this game easily in the end by 7 wickets and it has been on the back of an unreal hitting by Akash Yadav and Deepak Meena. Yadav ended up with a 100 while Meena finished things off with a 50. The Lions managed to achieve the herculean task of chasing down 231 and they did it with four balls to spare. The opening pair of Akash Yadav and Ubaid Khan went hammer and tongs in the powerplay and set the platform for the run chase as they started matching the Delhi batters who played well in the early phase. The duo put on 78 runs for the opening wicket when Khan was dismissed finally.
Asif took Bobby Yadav’s wicket, but Akash Yadav was scoring well. He hit a lot of boundaries and quickly reached his fifty. Akash and Deepak Meena attacked the bowlers and got the chase back on track. Akash reached his century in just 24 balls as the Delhi bowlers struggled under pressure. The bowlers had no answers, conceding boundaries and sixes all over the park. After choosing to bat first, Chennai posted 230 in 10 overs. Ankit Nagar was unstoppable, blasting 112 off just 24 balls, including 17 sixes. Gulshan Nain provided the perfect support at the top, scoring 70 off 17 balls.
Arham Abbasi showed some fight with the bat, scoring 77 off 24 balls, but the rest of the lineup failed to deliver, losing wickets at regular intervals. Chennai’s bowlers backed up their batters superbly. Nishant Williams stood out with 2 wickets in 2 overs, while Ankit Nagar and skipper Mahesh Keshwala chipped in with a wicket each.
Kolkata Superstars defeated Haryanvi Hunters by 36 runs after bowling them out for 120 in 8.5 overs. Rohit Lamba gave the Hunters a fast start, but quick wickets slowed them down. Moksh Murgai’s fiery 30 off 6 balls gave hope, but the lower order collapsed. Faisal Farooq took 5/15. Kolkata’s excellent bowling sealed a win.
