Hardik Pandya continues to play a blinder, squeezing in a couple, a clever FOUR, and a single. But the big moment came on the fourth ball – Tilak Varma departs for a superb 56(29), falling to a well-disguised slower one, brilliantly caught by Phil Salt.

Enter Naman Dhir – and what a way to announce himself! SIX straight down the ground off just his second ball!
Bhuvi ends the over with a pinpoint yorker. 13 runs and a crucial wicket – game still hanging in the balance!

MI 181/4 in 17 Overs – Tilak Brings Up Fifty with a Bang!
Yash Dayal finishes his spell, but not before Tilak Varma lights up the Wankhede with a powerful six and a well-compiled half-century.

The over began with a single from Hardik Pandya, followed by a couple of dot balls. Then came Tilak’s moment – a strong pull for two brought up his first fifty of the season, and he followed it up with a huge six over long-on off a slower delivery.

The over ends with a dot, but 11 runs come from it. MI are poised for a strong finish with Tilak on 56 (28)* and Hardik on 35 (11)* heading into the death overs.

MI 170/4 in 16 Overs – Tilak Varma Breaks Loose After Bhuvi’s Tight Start!
Bhuvneshwar Kumar returns for his third over with the pressure on. He begins well with a dot and a tight single, keeping both batters guessing. He nearly traps Hardik with a pinpoint yorker that strikes him on the boots, just missing leg.

But Tilak Varma then shifts momentum! He smashes a huge six over deep mid-wicket and follows it up with a straight-driven four after a wide delivery. A strong finish to the over as MI pick up 13 runs, pushing their total to 170 with four overs to go!

MI 157/4 in 15 Overs – Hardik Goes Big, Krunal Faces the Heat!
The Pandya brothers face off as Krunal returns to the attack, but it’s Hardik who steals the spotlight at Wankhede!

Tilak starts with a single, and then Hardik Pandya explodes!
Back-to-back sixes – one over long-off and the other over square leg, bringing up the 50-run stand in no time! Krunal tries to mix it up but bowls two wides under pressure.

The over ends with Tilak rotating strike again, making it 19 runs off the over.
MI now surging with momentum – 39 runs in the last 2 overs, and both batters firing!

MI 138/4 in 14 Overs – Hardik Pandya Unleashes Mayhem with 22-Run Over!
Josh Hazlewood returns for his third over, but Hardik Pandya makes it a nightmare.

It begins with a single to Tilak Varma, before Hardik explodes – smashing 22 runs off just 5 balls!
A couple of back-to-back sixes, one over mid-wicket and the other lofted over long-off, showcase Hardik’s raw power. He adds two fours too – one pulled in front of square, the other cut past the point with precision.

Hazlewood even concedes a wide in the middle of the carnage. The over ends with a rare dot, but the damage is done – Pandya storms to 20 off just 5 balls, turning the momentum sharply in MI’s favor!

MI 116/4 in 13 Overs – Tilak Varma Goes Big with 17-Run Over!
Suyash Sharma bowls out his spell, but Tilak Varma takes him on in style!

After a quiet start to the over, Tilak explodes – SIX over deep mid-wicket, a cracking drive over extra cover for four, and then a clever reverse sweep to the fence. He mixes power with finesse and keeps the scoreboard ticking with a double and a single to end the over.

Tilak moves to 30 off just 15 balls, and Mumbai Indians regain momentum in the middle phase.

MI 99/4 in 12 Overs – Yash Dayal Strikes as SKY Departs After a Handy Knock!
Yash Dayal returns and brings drama with him! The over begins with singles and a dot before Tilak Varma lights up the Wankhede – smashing a slower one over covers for a flat SIX!

Just when MI looked to build, Suryakumar Yadav throws it away, mistiming a lofted drive off another slower ball. Livingstone makes no mistake at wide mid-off.

Dayal had dropped a swirling catch earlier in the over (in a collision with keeper Jitesh Sharma), but he makes up for it in the best way possible.
9 runs and a big wicket – RCB stay on top!

MI 90/3 in 11 Overs – SKY Survives, But Suyash Keeps It Tight!
Suyash Sharma continues his tidy spell and keeps the pressure on the Mumbai Indians.

The over starts with a googly that Tilak Varma defends, followed by a wide down leg. Tilak struggles to connect, managing just a leg bye off the pads.

Suryakumar Yadav tries to break free with a slog sweep but mistimes it dropped at deep square leg! A tough chance as Krunal couldn’t spot it in time.

Despite the boundary, it’s another economical over from Suyash, just 6 runs off it. He’s building up the pressure well in the middle overs.

MI 84/3 in 10 Overs – Krunal Strikes as Jacks Falls, Tilak Varma Off to a Positive Start!
Krunal Pandya returns for his second over and immediately makes an impact for RCB.

Suryakumar Yadav starts the over with a single before Will Jacks tries a couple of adventurous shots but fails to connect. Then comes the breakthrough – Krunal deceives Jacks with a quicker, short delivery. A mistimed pull leads to a top edge, and Kohli takes a safe catch at long leg. Big wicket!

Tilak Varma walks in and gets going right away, smashing a FOUR over extra cover, followed by a single.
A tidy over with a crucial wicket – RCB tighten the screws at the halfway stage.

Will Jacks c Kohli b Krunal Pandya 22(18) [4s-2 6s-1]

MI 78/2 in 9 Overs – SKY Connects, But RCB Keep It Tight!
Suyash Sharma continues with his tidy spell, and he keeps the pressure on despite a boundary.

Suryakumar Yadav misses a couple of attempted sweep shots before finally connecting one — a well-placed FOUR through backward square leg. But that’s the only boundary in an otherwise disciplined over.

Will Jacks struggles to get Suyash away, ending the over with two dots. Just 5 runs from it — a solid one for RCB as the required rate begins to creep up.

MI 73/2 in 8 Overs – SKY and Jacks Unleash on Krunal!

Krunal Pandya comes into the attack, but Will Jacks and Suryakumar Yadav go after him right away.

Jacks starts with a single, and then it’s SKY show – two clever boundaries: a lift over mid-on followed by a classy inside-out loft over extra cover. Pure timing and placement!

Will Jacks wraps up the over with a cheeky reverse sweep for four, adding more pressure. Krunal leaks 14 in his first over as MI accelerate in the middle phase.

MI 59/2 in 7 Overs – Suyash Keeps It Tight as RCB Burn a Review

Leg-spinner Suyash Sharma is introduced into the attack as RCB’s Impact Player, replacing Devdutt Padikkal.

He starts with a tidy over, mixing his lengths and googlies well. Will Jacks and Suryakumar Yadav rotate the strike but can’t find the boundary.

The only real drama comes on the fourth ball – RCB take a review for a possible caught behind off SKY, but UltraEdge shows daylight between bat and ball, and ball-tracking confirms impact was outside off. RCB lose their review.

Just 5 runs off the over – a solid first from Suyash.

MI 54/2 in 6 Overs – Hazlewood Applies the Brakes in the Powerplay!

Josh Hazlewood delivers a top-class over, stifling Mumbai’s momentum just before the field spreads out.

Suryakumar Yadav struggles to get going, facing four dot balls in the over, including a failed ramp shot and a mistimed slog attempt. Hazlewood’s variations in length and pace leave SKY searching for timing.

Will Jacks finally rotate strike on the last ball after SKY sneaks a single earlier, just 2 runs off the over – Hazlewood ends the Powerplay with a tight spell: 2 overs, 6 runs, 1 wicket. RCB wrestle back control!

MI 52/2 in 5 Overs – Jacks Unleashes, SKY Finds His Rhythm!

Yash Dayal returns for his second over, but Will Jacks and Suryakumar Yadav take him on with intent.

Jack’s starts with a quick single before SKY showcases his trademark wristy flick for FOUR to get off the mark in style. After a dot and a single, Jacks keeps the pressure on with a couple to deep squares.

Then comes the highlight – SIX! Jack stands tall and smokes a short, wide delivery over long-on with effortless power.

14 runs off the over as MI pick up pace after early setbacks.

MI 38/2 in 4 Overs – Hazlewood Strikes, Rickelton Falls After a Fiery Start!

Josh Hazlewood is introduced into the attack and makes an immediate impact for RCB.

Rickelton looks aggressive, smashing a short and wide delivery for FOUR through extra cover. But Hazlewood hits back hard – a deceptive length delivery nips away slightly, trapping Rickelton LBW. RCB go upstairs, and it’s three reds on the tracker – a successful review!

Suryakumar Yadav walks in but is kept quiet by Hazlewood, who finishes a top-class over – just 4 runs and a key wicket. RCB tightening things up!

Rickelton lbw b Hazlewood 17(10) [4s-4]

MI 34/1 in 3 Overs – Rickelton Finds His Rhythm with Back-to-Back Boundaries!

Bhuvneshwar Kumar continues for SRH, and Ryan Rickelton takes charge in this over.

After a dot to begin, Rickelton finds his timing, two glorious boundaries! First, a drive-through extra cover with elegance, followed by a fierce punch between point and cover. He’s looking fluent now.

Bhuvi pulls it back slightly with a few tighter deliveries, and Jacks defends the final ball.
9 runs off the over – Mumbai keep the scoreboard ticking despite losing Rohit early again.

MI 25/1 in 2 Overs – Rohit’s Bright Start Ends with a Peach from Dayal!

Yash Dayal enters the attack and faces Rohit Sharma in full flow.

After a cautious leave first ball, Rohit punishes two poor deliveries with back-to-back fours – one flicked through mid-wicket and another drilled through covers. But Dayal bounces back in style!

BOWLED! An absolute beauty – an inswinger that sneaks past Rohit’s bat and crashes into leg stump. Big blow for Mumbai as their skipper departs on 17(9).

Will Jacks arrives and finishes the over with a classy flick for four. Eventful over – 12 runs and a crucial wicket!

Rohit b Yash Dayal 17(9) [4s-2 6s-1]

MI 13/0 in 1 Over – Rohit’s Whip & Rickelton’s Timing Set the Tone!

Bhuvneshwar Kumar starts the proceedings for SRH with a slip in place. Rohit Sharma and Ryan Rickelton open the chase for Mumbai Indians.

Rohit survives a testing first ball as a soft outside edge drops short of slip. He follows it with a couple off a flick and then shows his class with a towering six over square leg – effortless timing and power! After a dot and a single, Rickelton ends the over in style with a sweetly timed push past mid-on for four.

A solid start for MI – 13 runs from the opening over!

Virat Kohli:

“Yeah, it was pretty good. After losing a wicket on the second ball, we countered really well. I got a few going as well. That partnership was important for us to get to a good total on the board.
My strength is to get my touch and get that feel. Try to innovate a bit and try to hit to different parts of the field. When I time the ball at the start, I have a greater chance of scoring big.
For sure. When Salty goes early, someone has to have that greater impact. A big score is around the corner for him because he is hitting the ball really well. That partnership was important for us to get it deep and allow the guys like Jitesh, Livi, and Tim to cut loose in the end. Rajat doing what he does. Wickets not falling and one spinner was out of the game. That was an important part of the game. With wickets in hand and short boundary on one side, it was always hard for the Chinaman to bowl.

Despite a brief scare after a scoop attempt hit his helmet grille (triggering a quick concussion check), Patidar was back on his feet and in full flow. He’s finding gaps and pushing the tempo.

Kohli, meanwhile, is cool and cruising at 60 off 38, notching up his eighth 50+ score at Wankhede – a ground he clearly enjoys!

11 runs off the over, RCB building nicely toward a strong finish!

RCB 112/2 in 12 Overs – Kohli Cruises Past Fifty as Patidar Joins the Flow

RCB 105/2 in 11 Overs – Bumrah Keeps It Tight, Kohli Crosses Fifty!

Jasprit Bumrah returns for his second spell and shows his class with variations in pace and pinpoint accuracy.

Singles on almost every ball keep the scoreboard ticking, and Virat Kohli quietly reaches his half-century, keeping the anchor role going strong.

Bumrah mixes slower balls and off-cutters smartly, conceding just 5 runs in the over. Even mocks a throw after a dot to Patidar – vintage Boom Boom mind games.

RCB maintaining control, with Kohli on 55* and Patidar just getting settled.

Kohli tried to manufacture a boundary but couldn’t quite find the gap or timing this time.
Padikkal too, looking to keep the tempo going, managed a mistimed pull for a single.

MI will be happy to pull things back slightly after the powerplay assault. But with Kohli on 44(27)* and Padikkal 35(19)*, RCB still holds the upper hand.
