Pakistani fast bowler Ubaid Shah has made headlines for the wrong reasons after his over-the-top celebration during the Multan Sultans vs Lahore Qalandars match in the PSL 2025 on Tuesday, April 22.
The 19-year-old faced Sam Billings in the 15th over of the 2nd innings, and the latter made full use of the balls bowled in the slot by smashing two huge sixes in the stands.
Ubaid Shah had the last laugh when he dismissed the English batter on the final ball of his spell. His celebration was full of energy, but things took a funny turn when he accidentally slapped his teammate, Usman Khan, on the head while celebrating.
The right-arm pacer missed a high-five from the keeper, and after recovering from the impact, Usman Khan appeared to be really angry with Ubaid Shah.
When the incident was shown on the big screen, it triggered a wave of funny reactions from the players on the field and those in the dugout.

Rizwan Reflects on Multan Sultans’ First Win of the Season
“In the last three matches, we had some lackings in fielding. We did well here. We scored 235 earlier and today scored 228 but our execution was better today.” Rizwan said.
“We created the momentum. Usman generally gives us the momentum. But today Yasir stepped up. Our bowlers were also spot on. Our bowlers are inexperienced. They are almost newcomers in PSL and so I decided to not keep today. That gives you an opportunity to guide the bowlers. I have done it since last 2 years or so,” he added.
Multan Sultans ended up winning the match by 33 runs, thus marking their first win of the season on home debut.
