Gujarat completed the chase with 13 balls remaining defeating RCB by 8 wickets

Jos Butler and Sherfane finished the match with three sixes in the last over. Jos Butler hits two sixes in the second and fourth ball of the over while Rutherford completed the chase with six over mid wicket.

Rutherford sends the ball out of the boundary as Bhuvneshwar bowls at the fourth stump at a good length, Rutherford flicks it and clears the boundary.

Butler completes the half-century with two back-to-back hits off Liam Livinstone. Butler started their innings slowly, but as the innings progressed, he picked up the pace, finally completing his half-century in 31 balls.

Krunal Pandya came to bowl both the batters, rotated the strike for the next five balls, taking the five consecutive singles, and on the last bowl, Rutherford sentthe ball onto the stands, hitting his first six of the day.

Gujarat got a big setback as opener Sai Sudarshan got dismissed with a brilliant catch by Jitesh Sharma behind the stumps. Josh Hazelwood bowled fuller, and Sudarshan, in haste, tried to scoop but missed it. The bowlers took the edge at gloves, and Jitesh finished with a brilliant catch. Sudarshan scored 49 off 36.

As the target came close, Sudarshan and Butler further increased the run rate and hit two boundaries and one six, as Gujarat crosed 100 run mark.

 Shubman Gill and Sai Sudarshan stepped onto the ground to chase the relatively easy target of 170. Bhuvneshwar started the innings for RCB and spent only 5 runs, showcasing his swing skills.

 RCB star studded batting line up crumbled in front of Gujarat Titans bowling line up, Mohd. Siraj and R Sai Kishore maintain depression on RCB batters throughout the innings. After losing the first four wickets quickly, Livingston, Jitesh and Tim David in the last overs scored runs and put RCB in the fighting position.

After hitting three sixes and completing the fifty, Livingstone lost wickets to Siraj bowls short, Livingstone offered the short but ball took the edge and lands in Jos Butler’s gloves which finished his 54 off 40 knock which was very crucial given the early dismissals.

 after taking the two wickets, Sai Kishore came back for the last over, David hits third ball out of the park over the mid wicket. Sai Kishore conceded 22 runs in the 4 over spell.

Rashid not in a good form bowls short, Livingston hits out of the park, hitting his second 6 of the innings. David also sent the bowl boundaries as RCB scored 14 runs in the over.


RCB 105 in 15 Overs- Completes 100 runs after losing early wickets

RCB completed 100 runs with boundary from Krunal Pandya on Rashid Khan fuller. Hapiness didn’t lasted as Sai Kishore Strikes Back and send Krunal Pandya back to the pavilion. Sai bowled a carrom ball. Krunal tried to ball in leg side but he misjudged and played early giving a leading edge, Sai completed the catch easy catch. RCB lost its sixth wicket at 104/6.


RCB 94/5 in 13 Overs- Sai Kishore sends Jitesh Sharma back to pavilion 

 After completing the 50 run partnership with Liam livingstone in the first ball. Completing the two singles Jitesh sharma try to hit ball out of the park but miss timed it and ball went back to the Rahul tewatia once again, but this time Tewatia caught the ball safely, fixing the earlier mistake. Jitesh departs after scoring 33 off 21.


RCB 91/4 in 12 Overs- RCB in recovery mode, Livingstone hits ball for the six

 After unexpected start losing first four wickets quickly, Livingstone and Jitesh tries to further strengthens the partnership as Livingstone hits six while Jitesh sends ball of to a boundary.


RCB 80/4 in 11 Overs – Livingston and Jitesh tries to build partnership, Tewatia drops Livingston catch

 Livingston and Jitesh Sharma try to move inning forward and score atleast run a ball. On the fifth ball of the over Liam Livingston triad to hit ball out of the park but mis timed and ball went straight in the air and Rahul Tewatia drops and easy catch in the long on, Livingston got the second chance it will be interesting to see how he capitalise the opportunity.

 After scoring 17 runs in the last over RCB tried to play safe against Prasidh Krishna in this over, hits one boundary and completes three singles.


RCB 66/4 in 9 Overs – Jitesh strikes back, hits two boundaries and one six.

RCB made a comeback after losing 4 wickets early in the innings, Jitesh tries to put the pressure on Gujarat back again. Hits second ball of the over out of the boundary while hitting boundaries on fourth and last ball of the over, totalling 17 runs in the over.
