Jos Butler and Sherfane didn’t want to extend the match anymore as both the batters finished the match with sixes in the over. Sherfane gave the strike to Butler after taking a single on the first ball of the over. Butler on the crease hits two back-to-back sixes of Josh Hazelwood. After taking a single on the fourth ball, Rutherford completed the chase with a six over square leg.

For the 18th over, you’d impact substitute Rasikh came to bowl. Sherfane pushes the first bowl towards the square leg for a single. In the next four balls Ruther ford and Butler took two singles and rotated the strike twice. On the last ball of the over, Rutherford sends the ball out of the boundary as Bhuvneshwar bowls at the fourth stump line with a good length. Rutherford flicks it, and the ball clears the boundary, scoring 7 runs in the over.

Butler completes the half-century with two back-to-back hits on Liam Livinstone’s bowling. Butler started his innings slowly, but as his innings progressed, he picked up the pace, finally completing his half-century in 31 balls with four boundaries and four sixes so far.

Gujarat got a big setback as opener Sai Sudarshan got dismissed with a brilliant catch by Jitesh Sharma behind the stumps. RCB completed 100 runs with a boundary from Krunal Pandya on fuller. However, the happiness didn’t last long, as Sai Kishore Struck Back and sent Krunal Pandya back to the pavilion. Sai bowled a carrom ball. Krunal tried to hit the ball in the leg side, but he misjudged and played early, offering a leading edge. Sai completed the catch easily. RCB lost its sixth wicket at 104.

After completing the 50-run partnership with Liam Livingstone in the first ball, both the batters then took two singles. On the fourth ball of the over, Jitesh tried to hit the ball but mistimed it, and the ball went back to Rahul Tewatia once again. This time, Tewatia caught the ball safely, fixing the earlier mistake. Jitesh departs after scoring 33 off 21.
