Gujarat Titans defeated RCB by 8 wickets, finsihing the chase with 13 balls remaining

Jos Butler and Sherfane didn’t want to extend the match anymore as both the batters finished the match with sixes in the over. Sherfane gave the strike to Butler after taking a single on the first ball of the over. Butler on the crease hits two back-to-back sixes of Josh Hazelwood. After taking a single on the fourth ball, Rutherford completed the chase with a six over square leg.

For the 18th over, you’d impact substitute Rasikh came to bowl. Sherfane pushes the first bowl towards the square leg for a single. In the next four balls Ruther ford and Butler took two singles and rotated the strike twice. On the last ball of the over, Rutherford sends the ball out of the boundary as Bhuvneshwar bowls at the fourth stump line with a good length. Rutherford flicks it, and the ball clears the boundary, scoring 7 runs in the over.

Butler completes the half-century with two back-to-back hits on Liam Livinstone’s bowling. Butler started his innings slowly, but as his innings progressed, he picked up the pace, finally completing his half-century in 31 balls with four boundaries and four sixes so far.

Krunal Pandya came to the bowl, and both batters rotated the strike for the next five balls, taking the five consecutive singles. On the last bowl over, Rutherford sent the ball onto the stands, hitting his first six of his innings.

Josh Hazelwood bowled fuller, and Sudarshan, in haste, tried to scoop but missed it. The bowlers took the edge at gloves, and Jitesh finished with a brilliant catch. Sudarshan scored 49 off 36.

As the target approached, Sudarshan and Butler further increased the run rate, hitting two boundaries and one six, as Gujarat crossed the 100-run mark.

 Gujarat continued to play safe cricket, only four singles in the over. Bhuvneshwar Kumar finished another economical over.


GT 11/0 in 2 over: Gujarat plays safe 

Gujarat continued to play risk-free while RCB tried to put more pressure on them by not giving easy runs. Both the batters had 6 runs in the over, including one boundary.

 Shubman Gill and Sai Sudarshan stepped onto the ground to chase the relatively easy target of 170. Bhuvneshwar started the innings for RCB and spent only five runs, showcasing his swing skills.

Tim David saved RCB once again after scoring 32 out of 50 runs in the last four overs. In the last over of the innings, David scored 16 runs in the last overs with two boundaries and one six, pushing RCB to the 169.

After hitting three sixes and completing the fifty, Livingstone lost wickets as Siraj’s balls were short andLivingstone offered the short, but the ball took the edge and landed in Jos Butler’s gloves, which finished his 54 off 40 knock, a very crucial after the early dismissals.

Rashid, not in a good form, bowls short, Livingston hits out of the park, hitting his second 6 of the innings. David also sent the bowl boundaries, as RCB scored 14 runs in the over.


RCB 105 in 15 Overs- Completes 100 runs after losing early wickets

RCB completed 100 runs with a boundary from Krunal Pandya on fuller. However, the happiness didn’t last long, as Sai Kishore Struck Back and sent Krunal Pandya back to the pavilion. Sai bowled a carrom ball. Krunal tried to hit the ball in the leg side, but he misjudged and played early, offering a leading edge. Sai completed the catch easily. RCB lost its sixth wicket at 104.


RCB 94/5 in 13 Overs- Sai Kishore sends Jitesh Sharma back to the pavilion 

 After completing the 50-run partnership with Liam Livingstone in the first ball, both the batters then took two singles. On the fourth ball of the over, Jitesh tried to hit the ball but mistimed it, and the ball went back to Rahul Tewatia once again. This time, Tewatia caught the ball safely, fixing the earlier mistake. Jitesh departs after scoring 33 off 21.

 After unexpectedly losing the first four wickets quickly, Livingstone and Jitesh tried to strengthen their partnership further. Livingstone hit the ball for six, while Jitesh scored a boundary.

 Livingston and Jitesh Sharma tried to move the inning forward and scored a run. On the fifth ball of the over Liam Livingston triad to hit ball out of the park but mis timed and ball went straight in the air and Rahul Tewatia drops and easy catch in the long on, Livingston got the second chance it will be interesting to see how he capitalise the opportunity.

 After scoring 17 runs in the last over, RCB tried to play safe against Prasidh Krishna in this over, hitting one boundary and completing three singles.


RCB 66/4 in 9 Overs – Jitesh strikes back, hits two boundaries and one six.

RCB made a slight comeback after losing four wickets early in the innings. Jitesh tried to put the pressure on Gujarat again by hitting some big shots, hitting the second ball of the over out of the boundary while also scoring boundaries on the fourth and last ball of the over, RCB’s biggest over of the innings, totalling 17 runs.

Prasidh Krishna delivers some tough deliveries to the RCB batters. Jitesh and Livingston couldn’t score more than a single in this over.

 Ishant Sharma blows a big blow on the RCB as the experienced pacer found his Patidar’s front pad vulnerable to the bowl. Ishant dismisses Patidar at just 12(13).

Rajat Patidar and Liam play safe, only 3 runs in the last powerplay over. The Gujarat Titans bowlers are asking tough questions to RCB’s star-studded batting lineup.
