BCCI has announced the central contract for the 2024-25 season, in which Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan have entered, who were left out of the central contract last season. Varun Chakravarthy and Abhishek Sharma have also been given a place in this contract. This contract will be from 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2025. In the contract list, Indian team captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, and Ravindra Jadeja have been placed in the A+ category, and they have already retained that place.

Talking about the central contract list, spin bowler Varun Chakravarthy, who performed brilliantly in the ICC Champions Trophy, has got a place in the central contract for the first time.
