In Match No. 20 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, Rajat Patidar’s side triumphed over the five-time champions by 12 runs on Monday, April 7. MI, meanwhile, is struggling with form having lost four of their last five encounters and remaining stuck in the lower half of the standings.
After losing their previous six encounters against MI at the Wankhede since their 39-run win in 2015, RCB finally set the record straight on Monday. Earlier this season, RCB had ended a 17-year drought by defeating the Chennai Super Kings at their Chepauk fortress. This time, they outplayed MI on their home turf. The win also ensured RCB held onto third place in the standings, trailing only the Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals.
