The win lifted SRH to seventh on the points table. On the other hand, the Titans after taking a big hit to their NRR slipped one spot down to second place.

After being put in to bat, Punjab looked in complete control, piling up a massive 245/6 in their 20 overs largely thanks to a captain’s knock from Shreyas Iyer, who smashed 82 off just 36 balls.
But SRH responded in breathtaking fashion, pulling off the second-highest successful chase in IPL history. Abhishek Sharma was the standout performer scoring an impressive 141 runs from just 55 balls including 10 sixes and 14 fours. His opening partner, Travis Head played the perfect supporting role with a fiery 66 off 37 as SRH chased down the target in just 18.3 overs.
The win propelled Sunrisers two spots up to eighth on the points table, with two wins from six matches and a total of four points. Meanwhile, Punjab Kings, despite their strong batting display slipped to sixth place with three wins from five games and six points overall.
