The star Indian batter Virat Kohli criticized the broadcasters for interfering in his personal life. He asked them to stick to covering sports and matters related to athletes instead of discussing things like players’ favorite food. Virat Kohli has always been in the spotlight. His strong presence and the things he has achieved on the cricket field have made him one of the most talked-about cricketers in the world.
Virat Kohli is one of the most popular cricketers in India, which is why he’s always in the news. But it’s not just his cricketing performances that grab attention, his actions off the field also make headlines and are often talked about in detail during cricket shows and broadcasts.

Virat Kohli talked about how sports are growing and said that the groundwork for future success is being set now. He also made a light comment about broadcasters, saying they should focus more on the game itself rather than personal things like what he ate yesterday. Kohli shared these thoughts while speaking at the RCB Innovation Lab.
“We have the vision. We have the groundwork happening today. It should be a collective responsibility of everyone involved. It’s not just about the infrastructure or the people who infuse the money. It’s also about the people who watch,” Kohli said.
“We need education. A broadcast show needs to talk about the game and not what I ate yesterday for lunch or my favourite chole-bhature place in Delhi. You can’t have that in cricket matches. Rather, you could talk about what an athlete is going through.” he said.
Kohli talked about how important it is for players to return to their families after going through something intense. He mentioned that it disappoints him when people don’t understand this.
“It is very difficult to explain to people how grounding it is to come back to your family every time you have something intense happening on the outside. I don’t think people have an understanding of what value it brings. I feel quite disappointed about that. People who have no control over what is going on are kind of brought into conversations and put out in the forefront. Maybe they need to be kept away.” he explained.
